Filipino-German Stephan Schrock will be joining the Philippine Azkals this June.
The 24-year-old Schrock, born to a Filipina mother and a German father, played as a right back for Greuther Furth in Germany’s football league.
The Fil-German, who is currently recuperating from a knee operation, said he is excited to play for the team.
Schrock played for the German Under-18, -19 and -20 youth squads which all qualified for the Union of European Football Associations championship.
"We got a lot of real quality and a lot of good guys. I hope we can develop to the next level," he said about the Azkals team.
